'Easter'
Although now quite
redundant, ‘Eastre’,
meaning ‘egg’, was
once a supposed
‘goddess’ of spring.
Spring will always be
a time to celebrate
new life and natural
regrowth, (not
resurrection!! )
and is still today,
happily represented
by the egg which
symbolises this.
'Xmas'
Religious beliefs are
personal beliefs, and
not considered here to
be any real cause for
celebration. Therefore
we declare that as
‘christmas’ has no
factual meaning it
will be replaced with
simple greetings for a
Happy End Of The Year,
Or a Happy Years End.
